About Cashbox Magazine & Charts

Cashbox is one of America’s longest-running music industry publications, first launched in 1942. Over the decades, it became known for its music charts, tracking which songs and artists were making waves across the country.

After a break in the 1990s, Cashbox was relaunched online in 2006, and today it continues both as a digital magazine and a print edition. The magazine highlights artists, new releases, industry news, and most importantly publishes charts that show which songs are gaining attention.

For independent artists, being featured on a Cashbox chart is more than just a number — it’s recognition that your music is being heard and moving up in the industry. With a legacy that rivals Billboard, Cashbox gives artists another platform to shine while carrying forward more than 80 years of chart history. Click Image on the right for more information about CashBox Magazine.
